Department of Mechanical Engineering Education objectives (including the expected results of the special class): |
With the aging of the population structure in industrial countries and the advent of
market globalization, Taiwan's traditional manufacturing industry is also facing the
pressure of comprehensive upgrading and transformation. The government is now
vigorously promoting the Productivity 4.0 plan, in which automation and intelligent
machines are the key spirit, and the demand for related innovative manufacturing
talents is even more urgent. |
In order to be closer to the needs of the industry and provide the industry with suitable
and high-quality talents, the special class course design integrates relevant teachers in
information, machinery, chemical materials, electrical machinery, electronics,
communications, etc., so that students can master the basic knowledge, then move on
to the overall understanding and operation of the system, and finally to the study of
the principles of the system and components, truly cultivating students'
problem-solving ability. The course content also combines industry resources and
internship experience to achieve the goal of innovative manufacturing and
high-quality human resource training. |
The course design covers system requirements, components, drawings, materials,
processing and other related mechanical and chemical fields. In addition, it also
cultivates students' Chinese communication skills and enhances their understanding of
Taiwanese culture, so that they can identify more with Taiwan and be closer to Taiwan,
providing soft support for the internationalization of the industry and the projection of
Taiwan's national strength. |
