Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering Off-campus Internship Planning |
The off-campus internship program of this special class includes 18 required credits and 18 elective credits, beginning in the sophomore year and carried out over six semesters. |
(一) |
The Department’s off-campus internship program is coordinated and managed by the Department Internship Committee, which follows the “Regulations for Off-campus Internship Implementation of the International Industry-Academia Collaboration Program in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering.” When students participate in industry internships, the Department assigns full-time faculty members as academic advisors, while also inviting workplace supervisors to serve as industry mentors. This arrangement helps reduce adaptation issues for Vietnamese students during their internships. In addition, advisors are required to regularly visit the internship sites, meet with employers, identify student difficulties in a timely manner, and provide necessary support and assistance. |
(二) |
Prior to beginning their industry internships, Vietnamese students enrolled in the International Industry-Academia Collaboration Program will sign a tripartite internship agreement with the cooperating companies and Nanya Institute of Technology, in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s requirements. Besides the mandatory student accident insurance, students are also covered by additional personal accident insurance, and some companies may further require students to join their group insurance to ensure student rights and safety. |
