About us
Nanya Institute of Technology, located at Jhongli City in Taoyuan County , is one of the most Pragmatic schools in Taiwan . Our Institute has been founded in line with the excellent traditions of Chinese culture to execute our national policies in education and to train personnel in scientific technology and management with balanced development in Five Educations, who will abide by the law and take a pragmatic approach to problems, so that they might contribute what they have learned to the society.
The Chinese Language Section(CLS), established in May 2013, aims to facilitate the pedagogy of language learning, to develop the foreign language proficiency of local and international students campus wide, and to help build the self-confidence and competitiveness of learners in the light of globalization. Since Sep.1, 2016, the International Language Center(ILC) has taken over all the affairs of the CLS.
The ILC offers a substantial number of non-credit language courses for international students and overseas Chinese students. All faculty members at the ILC are highly trained professionals with years of experience in teaching Mandarin as a second language. In addition to language courses, the ILC offers a variety of cultural workshops, such as Cultural experience activities, Chinese Calligraphy, Origami and Outdoor Activities. These interesting workshops give students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
