南亞技術學院幼兒保育系

	本系成立於民國九十三年，以提昇嬰幼兒保育之質與量及增進幼兒智能與語言能力為重點目標。配合國家政策之需求，希望培育出身心健全、具嬰幼兒保育專業知能的學生，將來能成為稱職、專業且優秀的幼兒保育人才。並在提高幼兒保育品質的前提下，增進學生經營管理幼保相關產業的能力。
	本系教師皆學有專長，並依照老師的專業領域分為：幼兒保育類、幼兒教育基礎類、心理與發展類、幼兒教育實務類等；專業師資共計十九名，含一位教授、一位副教授、八位助理教授及九位講師。本系目前設有六間專業教室，分為為：幼兒教育研究室、幼兒保健研究室、膳食營養研究室、多媒體教材教具設計室、感覺統合研究室、視廳教室等，專業教室數仍積極規劃擴增中，提供學生更多元、完善的學習環境。

	Department of Early Childhood Education was established in 2004. The objectives of the department are to promote the qualities of child cares and to motivate children’s intelligence and verbal skills. By matching the national policy, the department aims to cultivate the students with adequate child-care professions and sound personalities. In addition, enhance students’ knowledge of early childhood education and management.
	The instructors in the department are professional and specialized. There are nineteen teachers, including a professor, an associate professor, eight assistant professors and nine instructors, in the divisions of child-nursing, child education, psychological development and practical operation. In addition, there are six research rooms in the department including Child Education Research Room, Child Health Care Research Room, Child Meals and Nutrition Research Room, The Design Room for Teaching Materials, Sensory Integration Research Room and Audio-Visual classroom. The research rooms are planed to expand in the future in order to provide the students with a better and mature learning environment.
