The Department was established in 2004, initially recruiting students in the four-year daytime Bachelor Program. In the following year, additional programs were introduced, including the four-year evening Bachelor Program, the two-year evening Bachelor Program, and the two-year evening Associate Program. The department currently offers four programs: a four-year daytime Bachelor Program, a four-year evening Bachelor Program, a two-year evening Bachelor Program and a two-year evening Associate Program. The department's five core objectives are:
