The Department was established in 2004, initially recruiting students in the four-year daytime Bachelor Program. In the following year, additional programs were introduced, including the four-year evening Bachelor Program, the two-year evening Bachelor Program, and the two-year evening Associate Program.
The department currently offers four programs: a four-year daytime Bachelor Program, a four-year evening Bachelor Program, a two-year evening Bachelor Program and a two-year evening Associate Program. The department's five core objectives are:

1. Training highly skilled early childhood education professionals
2. Fostering students' development of a second area of expertise
3. Enhancing practical learning to improve employability
4. Establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with industry
5. Integrating and contributing to community resources

By leveraging on-campus resources and strengthening regional industry-academia connections, the department actively supports the development and enhancement of local early childhood education. This ensures high-quality teaching and effective learning outcomes, nurturing early childhood professionals who meet industry demands.

Programs and Admission Types Four-Year Daytime Bachelor Program:

Admission Methods: Application-for admission, technical talent screening, four-year program screening, Joint Entrance Examination placement, and independent admission.

Two-Year Evening Associate Program:

      •  Admission Method: Independent admission

      •  Class Schedule

              •  Weekday Program: Monday to Friday

              •  Weekend Program: Saturday and Sunday

Two-Year Evening Bachelor Program:

      •  Admission Method: Independent admission.

      •  Class Schedule: Weekend Program (Saturday and Sunday)
